DIY Hot Rod Drum Sticks

DIY Hot Rod Drum Sticks
Heres my take on making some “hot rod” style sticks. You could use tape, but heat shrink gives it that professional look.

  1. That jam session you did to test out the sticks was amazing.

  2. 4:02 YOU TAKE THE MOON AND YOU TAKE THE SUN

  3. Great job! They sound really good and I love to DIY stuff, too. I did almost exactly the same thing as you did starting a couple of years ago- just got tired of paying for new HotRod sticks! Love the vids, subbed to your channel. Keep up the great work, thanks!

  4. Did you glue them all the way up? It appears you did, however, those grand ones you demoed looked a bit splayed out on the business end in a minor way compared to the store bought ones. Thank you for your video.Great job! I’m fashioning up a few pairs with 3/16″ dowels. That’s what I found in the store.

  5. rdavidr, great vids,I have just removed the end cap and heat shrink from some Cool Rods and removed the hot glue, really simple ,to reveal nice new dowels, just need some heat shrink now for the damaged ends, the only bad news is I can’t find the the other stick!…

  6. but.. what you made are technically lightning rods
